As a close friend of my children, I've known Susan for years. A few months ago it became time for my Wife and I to sell our Chino home of 35 years and I knew that Susan was in the real estate line of work, so I contacted her. I know nothing about real estate and after speaking with her briefly I came to realize that she really does know her s*it! After going over our property plus and minuses, we decided to list our house at $20k more than I was hoping for and it sold after the 1st weekend of open house and for more than listed price. Everything was going smoothly and then Susan informed us that the new buyers backed out of the sale. Sorta taken by surprise, she assured us that our home will sell again within just a few days... AND IT DID! This time for even more than the last and there was a "good faith" deposit to insure everything going smoothly. Before we knew it all the back n forth communications between us stopped and everything was finalized. Our money was in our bank in less than 30 days. Where I was shopping was a considerable distance from her office and normal area of operation, but that never stopped her from making the time to come out to my area to either spend the day looking at homes she found for me or show me a home I had found on my own. Working with Susan was a joy. She always had a positive attitude and smile on her face. She went out of her way to help me being I have Parkinson's disease and could not drive. Susan was amazing! She helped me close an awesome short sale despite all the problems that came up. The short sale itself took about 6 months. All other short sales I looked up took 6 months to a year to close. Great agent, great person!
